Structure Fire 753 Elkhead Rd. Yoncalla

At 1509 hours (3:09pm) August 18th, 2016 North Douglas County Fire & EMS was dispatched to the report of a structure fire at 753 Elkhead Road in Yoncalla. The first arriving unit found a motor home fully involved with fire, with extension to two nearby buildings. Initial attack units were able to knock down the fire to the nearby buildings with minimal damage. However, the motor home was a complete loss. North Douglas County Fire responded with 11 firefighters and were assisted by Oakland Rural Fire Department, Douglas County Sheriff's Office, Douglas Forest Protective Association, as well as multiple bystanders. The cause of the fire is under investigation at this time. These photos were taken by DFPA units on scene.
