North Douglas County Fire & EMS enjoys being engaged in the community to educate and provide resources in the event of an emergency. The department not only uses resources from the National Fire Protection Association and the Oregon State Fire Marshals Office, they designs resources and develop education based on the community concerns and needs.
North Douglas County Fire & EMS host open houses and informational booths to distribute information and connect with the community. The district also participates an a variety of community events like the Yoncalla 4th of July celebration, North Douglas County Fair, Yoncalla Summer Festival, School Sports, and more.
