Opportunity Tuesday - Water Tender Ops

North Douglas County Fire & EMS offers a unique opportunity to get up close to the action without going through the full firefighting course. Water Tender Ops supports firefighting efforts whether they are structure fires, vehicle fires or natural cover fires.

This position is perfect for people who are retired and looking to volunteer in the community, or people who are trying to get a feel for firefighting before committing to full fire training.

Our fire district has 5 tenders across the district. Locations include Curtin, Drain, Rice Hill, Scotts Valley, and Yoncalla.

Training provided, CDL not required, Drivers license and an acceptable driving history required.
