2018 Hydrant Testing

North Douglas County Fire & EMS will be conducting our annual fire hydrant testing in the cities of Drain and Yoncalla Monday, September 10, 2018 and conclude by Friday, September 21, 2018. Testing will be during the hours of 9am and 8pm Monday through Friday’s. During this time you might notice a slight discoloration of the water in your house but it should clear up within a few hours.

This hydrant testing is very important to us as it gives us annual information on the quality of our local water suppression system so we can make sure that it is in good working order. It also helps us in our fire district’s ISO ratings which ultimately affects your insurance premiums.
