Structure Fire 900 Date Street Drain

Just before 9;00, Sunday, May 6, 2018, North Douglas County Fire & EMS was dispatched to a single wide trailer fire in the 900 block of Date St. in Drain. First in crews arrived to a fully engulfed trailer fire with minimal threat to another nearby trailer.

Fire crews protected nearby structures and extinguished the trailer fire within a few minutes from arriving. The structure was a complete loss with $0 of damage and value loss due to the trailer being scheduled to be removed later next week. The cause of the fire was unintentional.

North Douglas County Fire & EMS responded with nine firefighters and three engines. NDCFEMS was assisted by the City of Drain and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
