On December 31, 2017, Captain Mike Dickey will hang up his gear for the final time after 20 years. Mike has been a huge part of Yoncalla Rural Fire and then later North Douglas County Fire & EMS. Mike always has a smile on his face "unless told by dispatch to standby for 911", and he has always been there to lend a hand to his fellow firefighters and community.
All of us here at North Douglas County Fire & EMS would like to thank you Mike, for your 20 years of service. You will be missed!
