At 1623 hours August 20th, North Douglas County Fire & EMS was dispatched to a automatic mutual aid request from South Lane Fire & Rescue for a two story, fully involved house fire in the 80300 block of Sears Rd. in Cottage Grove. North Douglas Fire sent one water tender with two firefighters and a single ALS Ambulance to cover Cottage Grove for the duration of the fire.
