Icy Roads

The snow may be beautiful, but temperatures will drop below 20° the next few nights.

Plenty of snow made it to the valley floors overnight and blanketed the mountains. Temperatures will rise into the mid 30’s this afternoon, allowing snow that accumulated overnight to melt. However, temperatures will fall below 20° freezing runoff from melted snow. This will create hazardous road conditions over the next few days slowing down travel and causing delays. Have a emergency kit in your car and expect delays.
