-Hello Educators!

North Douglas County Fire & EMS is extending an open invitation for you and your

students to come visit us at the fire station!

Drop by for a quick tour or stay awhile for a lesson. Listed below are a few opportunities we are currently offering for our local schools.

Quick Tour

Drop by for a quick visit and look at the trucks and ambulances. Meet local Volunteer

Firefighters and Medics.

Medical Tour

Our medical staff will show students around the ambulances and talk with them about their jobs. Our medics like to have fun by back boarding kids and turning them upside-down  (the kids will love it). Kids can also be hooked up to our monitors so they can see their heart rate.

Fire Tour

Our firefighters are always looking to show off their fire trucks and equipment. Jump into a truck and honk the horn and run the siren. Kids would also have the opportunity to spray a

Firehose, try on fire gear and of course meet sparky the Fire Dog.

Extended Stay

Stay awhile and get an exclusive tour around the station. Hop inside our fire trucks and

ambulances for a closeup look. We can show kids their heart rate, let kids spray fire hoses and more! Our staff will be happy to teach kids about fire safety and their jobs as Firefighters and Medics. Bring a sack lunch and eat with our staff at the fire station!

Please contact our office at (541) 836-2282 to schedule a visit and the requirements for supervision while visiting.
